Top 5 Theme Parks Apps in the US for Q4 2022

In Q4 2022, the top five theme park apps in the US demonstrated significant activity in terms of downloads, active users, and revenue. According to Sensor Tower data, here is a detailed look at their performance.

My Disney Experience saw a robust increase in weekly revenue, peaking at around $278K in mid-December. Weekly downloads for the app showed a steady upward trend, starting at about 50K at the end of September and reaching nearly 89K by the end of December. Active users also grew, moving from approximately 271K to 324K over the same period.

Disneyland® experienced a gradual rise in weekly revenue, which peaked at roughly $55K in mid-December. Weekly downloads fluctuated slightly but ended the quarter on a high note, increasing from 62K to about 72K. Active users showed a similar pattern, starting at 166K and climbing to 180K by the end of December.

Universal Orlando Resort did not generate revenue during this period. However, the app's weekly downloads showed a notable increase, beginning at 22K in late September and peaking at 68K by the end of December. Active users also experienced growth, rising from approximately 104K to 161K.

Universal Studios Hollywood™ also did not generate revenue. The app's weekly downloads started at 35K in late September, fluctuating throughout the quarter but ultimately reaching about 50K by the end of December. Active users increased from 56K to 77K over the same period.

Lastly, SeaWorld did not generate revenue in Q4 2022. Weekly downloads showed an upward trend, beginning at 14K and rising to approximately 50K by the end of December. Active users grew from around 29K to 68K throughout the quarter.
